Sphera and the legacy stack, retired across a global conglomerate.

A diversified global group consolidated sustainability and compliance across every listed entity onto Noa, replacing a portfolio of EHS and compliance tools with one AI-native, customisable workspace.

One stack

A long-running portfolio of EHS and compliance tools, replaced by a single platform.

All listed

Entities across the group, onboarded onto a shared KPI library.

Multi‑continent

Facilities across continents, running on the same operating rail.

AI‑native

Workflows the group’s own teams can customise in product.

The starting point.

The customer is a diversified global group with multiple listed entities across industries that include chemicals, consumer goods, real estate, agriculture and asset management. Their sustainability and EHS stack had grown in layers over more than a decade. Parts of the group ran on a major legacy EHS suite, others on point compliance tools, with a long tail of workbooks and trackers holding the rest together.

The group wanted a single platform that is AI-native, audit-grade, and shaped by their own teams. Vendor change windows had become a recurring blocker on routine workflow updates, and disclosure cycles increasingly demanded an evidence trail that none of the existing tools could produce end to end.

The brief.

The brief from the group was short. One platform, replacing the legacy stack, running across every listed entity and every facility. Workflows their own teams could shape in product rather than via vendor tickets. A single evidence vault auditors and assurance partners could read from with the right scope.

How we consolidated.

Consolidation of this size is a milestone exercise, not a sprint. The work moved entity by entity, in close partnership with the group’s sustainability and digital teams. Three moves carried the weight.

1. One universal KPI library, mapped once.

Every framework the group needed, from BRSR and IFRS S1 and S2 to ESRS, GRI, CDP, SBTi and internal HSE, was reduced to its underlying data points and unified into a single KPI library. A measurement is captured once and flows into every framework that needs it. New frameworks plug into the same library rather than triggering a new collection cycle.

2. Noa as the operating rail.

Noa is the AI agent that runs the work. It ingests evidence, runs calculations, drafts disclosure language, and routes only judgement calls to humans. A full evidence chain is attached to every number, which means an auditor can trace any disclosed figure back to its source document and transformation history.

3. A workspace per listed entity, rolled up to group.

Each listed company has its own workspace, its own auditors and its own signing authorities. The group office sees the consolidated view. Permissions, audit trails and roll-ups are honoured at every level, so a board report at group level uses the same numbers that an entity’s assurance team signed off on.

What runs on Noa today.

Every listed entity in the group now runs sustainability and core EHS workflows on Noa. The same operating rail covers business lines spanning chemicals, consumer products, real estate, agriculture and asset management. Facilities on multiple continents are on the same platform. The group office works from one consolidated view, and auditors read from one evidence vault.

The outcome.

Before

  • Legacy EHS suite plus point compliance tools, deployed unevenly across the group
  • The same KPI calculated differently across entities
  • Workflow changes routed through vendor change windows
  • Annual disclosure cycles led by a small central team

With Noa

  • One workspace across every listed entity and facility
  • One KPI library, mapped once, used everywhere
  • Workflows edited in product by the group’s own teams
  • Continuous disclosure with an audit-grade evidence chain

Consolidations of this scale are measured in milestones, not days. What matters is what is true on the other side. Sustainability and compliance run as one product, on one source of truth, owned by the group’s own teams.
